As HR Manager, you are in close contact with both the global and local management team. You're a sparring partner for all parties: “the glue that keeps everybody together” to help push forward MPL's growth in Belgium.'On the one hand, you are able to establish new HR policies in Belgium and bring various HR projects to completion. On the other hand, you advise the people leaders and assist in shaping and elaborating our company culture.'You are in charge of HR in all its aspects: compensation & benefits, payroll, sustainable employability, leadership development, recruitment, and much more. HR@MPL is growing and developing rapidly, so you are the go-to person for development and new insights in our HR flow.
You help ensure that our people are happy colleagues, who are growing, performing, and thriving. As you can gather, employee engagement is a hot topic for us. We're a people-focused company, and our team's engagement is crucial to us. Everything you do is done thoughtfully, with a keen eye for quality and efficiency. You work with a young and eager HR team, each member of which has their own expertise. As a people manager, you've got a strong focus on the growth and development of the entire team.'In this role, you report to the Global HR Manager, who sets the tone throughout MPL, across the world.
PROFILE
We are looking for someone with some experience as an HR Manager, who also enjoys diving into day-to-day HR activities. You've got a deep and wide knowledge of payroll, compensation & benefits, personnel management, talent development, recruitment and selection, and HR policies. You're driven by results and can come up with effective HR solutions. You understand that the company culture is the key to an organization's success, and that you are the connection between management and operations. We are looking for someone who’s a strong communicator with great people skills, and an optimistic team player. You are an analytical thinker who can easily navigate various software programs like MS Office & HR-specific systems. You work in an international setting, so you approach things with a global mindset.
