We are Manuport Logistics, otherwise known as MPL. A top-notch logistics company with headquarters in the Port of Antwerp. We're all about going the extra mile for our customers! How do we achieve this, you might ask? Through our unique blend of logistics services and the personal advice of our enthusiastic MPL team. We’re currently looking for a new team member to join our Procurement team in Belgium.
As a Procurement Representative, you will provide administrative, commercial, and strategical support. You will work out tenders and negotiations for offers. Once you have learned the different procedures, you will be able to handle the purchase of sea freight independently (Export/ Import/ Crosstrade) as well as other logistic services.
Knowledge is power
At MPL, we turn knowledge into action. Who are we looking for?
- A good command of Excel is essential for managing and updating data efficiently.
- Experience with uploading prices into a database is a plus, it is not a strict requirement.
Experience within the logistics sector or the shipping industry is a plus.
Communication is key. You should be internally oriented to support colleagues and be more inclined to say "YES" than "NO" to internal questions.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.
You’re all about integrity, positivism, and keeping it real. Just like us.
You think outside of the container and you’re not afraid to speak up.
You adapt fast and stay cool under pressure.
