We are Manuport Logistics, otherwise known as MPL. A top-notch logistics company with headquarters in the Port of Antwerp. We're all about going the extra mile for our customers! How do we achieve this, you might ask? Through our unique blend of logistics services and the personal advice of our enthusiastic MPL team. We’re currently looking for a new team member within our HR team in Belgium.
As an HR Advisor – Compensation & Benefits, you will play a key role in managing timely and accurate payroll processes, overseeing the time registration system, and advising employees on a broad range of compensation topics, including salary calculations, holiday pay, group and hospital insurance, our bike leasing program, and the company car fleet. You will also be responsible for ensuring the correct application of social legislation within all HR-related processes.
In this role, you will also support the HR Manager in guiding employees across several departments, with a focus on practical HR matters. You will contribute to employee satisfaction, development, and performance by offering day-to-day support and advice. If you’re up for it, there’s room to grow and eventually take full ownership of this.
You will collaborate closely with the HR Manager to prepare the annual HR budget and take the lead in implementing key HR projects, such as the mobility budget and performance management initiatives.
Knowledge is power
This position is ideal for someone with a few years of relevant HR experience who’s ready for the next step in a dynamic and hands-on role. You have a first experience with payroll processing and are preferably familiar with tools like eBlox (SD Worx) and Protime. With strong analytical thinking and a sharp eye for detail, you’re quick to navigate various software programs, including MS Office and HR-specific systems. Additionally, you're a team player with an optimistic outlook, yet equally capable of excelling independently.
