The Bremen office is led by Kai Bischoff, Branch Manager – Liquids, MPL Germany. With 29 years of experience in the logistics industry and extensive expertise in liquid logistics, Kai will drive the development of MPL’s integrated liquid transport and storage solutions in Germany and across Europe.
“Liquid logistics requires precision, compliance expertise and strong operational control. With MPL Bremen, we are building a focused platform to serve growing European demand for integrated import, storage and distribution solutions for liquids, chemicals and food-grade cargo such as wine and edible oils,” says Kai Bischoff.
Over the past ten years, MPL Germany has continuously evolved into a strong and diversified logistics player. What started with a solid forwarding base has grown into a well-established organization with key pillars in:
· Project Cargo, including large-scale wind energy and renewable energy projects
· Forest products and paper logistics
· Heavy and out-of-gauge transport solutions
· Comprehensive added-value services linking storage, distribution and supply chain coordination.
“Germany has become a key market within the MPL Group. Over the last decade, we have built a strong reputation through operational excellence and entrepreneurial drive,” says Lars Hansen, Managing Director of MPL Germany. “With Bremen, we are strategically expanding into a high-value logistics segment that complements our existing strengths and supports further European growth.”
“Bremen is a natural next step for our German organization,” adds Guy Pasmans, CEO of MPL. “With strong operations already established in Hamburg and now a dedicated liquids hub in Bremen, we are further strengthening our presence in two of Northern Europe’s most important logistics hubs. This allows us to better connect global shipping routes with European supply chains while expanding our capabilities in the liquids and chemicals logistics market.”
By combining Hamburg’s project-driven expertise with Bremen’s dedicated liquid logistics focus, MPL Germany strengthens its position as a versatile logistics partner connecting industrial supply chains across Europe.
