After short and productive negotiations, we are proud to announce that, as of today, Overseas Freight Services Greece is part of the Manuport Logistics (MPL) family. Thanks to this acquisition, MPL is expanding its Mediterranean coverage, with 15 new employees and an office in Piraeus. Overseas Freight Services was founded 25 years ago and is an established company in Greece, with a globally respected reputation and track record. The company delivers a wide range of services, including project cargo, sea, air, road and rail freight, making it a perfect match with Manuport Logistics. “Sharing the same vision and mentality as the MPL family was the key motivation behind entering this partnership,” explains Overseas Freight Services Greece's General Manager Christos Kalfas.'

Overseas Freight Services will soon be rebranded as Manuport Logistics Greece.

This acquisition is part of Manuport Logistics’ global development strategy, consisting of the expansion of our worldwide office network with our own MPL differentiators (specialized and enthusiastic staff), so we can serve our international customers better.

“The main goal is to honor and develop Overseas Freight Services Greece's long-term relationships with local customers and partners. Like our previous acquisitions, we will also be rolling out our global procurement and customers here,” says Guy Pasmans, CEO of Manuport Logistics. The integration and further expansion of Manuport Logistics Greece will be a joint effort by the local team and the headquarters in Antwerp. The local management will remain on board and become a minority shareholder. George Kalfas, General Manager of Overseas Freight Services Greece, welcomed the deal as a “strong partnership towards a successful future”.
