Are you ready to further develop your commercial and operational skills and play a key role in the growth of an international logistics organization?
As an Inland Shipping Charterer at Manuport Logistics (MPL), you'll have the opportunity to work as the right hand of the General Manager and take ownership of important logistics projects. You will coordinate the chartering of inland vessels (bulk/breakbulk), negotiate competitive freight rates, and be responsible for the administrative handling of planning and chartering activities.
In this role, you will be the main point of contact for clients, skippers, and other stakeholders, and you'll have the freedom to apply your commercial and operational insights to optimize processes. In addition to your day-to-day operational tasks, you’ll also have the opportunity to grow into a more managerial position and play an even larger role in the further expansion of Barging Solutions.
Who are you?
You have relevant work experience, preferably in the logistics sector. You are highly customer-oriented and take a solution- and goal-driven approach to your work. To achieve this, you are in daily contact with all relevant parties (clients, skippers, etc.) via email and phone. You demonstrate flexibility in your work and towards your team. In addition, you have strong commercial skills and can negotiate to secure competitive freight rates. You possess strong computer skills and are highly proficient in Dutch, French, and German. You are a team player who can guide and lead colleagues when needed.
